After playing the evil Surpanakha in Siya Ke Ram, actress Sara Arfeen Khan will be seen doing a role with grey shades for Siddharth P Malhotra's new TV series Love Ka Hai Intezaar. The new show also features Sanjeeda Sheikh and Keith Sequeira. Talking about the role, Sara says, "I have done a show with Siddharth and Sapna before which was titled Zindegi Wins, so I am aware that they are known for meaningful work. When Sid (Siddharth P. Malhotra) narrated this role to me, he was very confident that I will do the full justice to the character. I trusted his judgement and his confidence, and agreed to do the role."
Talking about her pivotal part on the show, Sara adds, "Without me, the story doesn’t go forward, because in every story, a villain is needed to make things interesting. I am playing the role of Vijaylaxmi, a woman who gives priority to her husband, her life and her family and everything else is secondary”.
While the negative roles which she has portrayed on screen, whether it was in Siya Ke Ram or Jamai Raja, they gave ver immense popularity. So, does portraying negative characters upset her in her personal life? Sara replies, "I teach psychology and I'm a mind coach too, so I can snap out snap easily. I don't carry my work home." Speaking about her look in the show, Sara says, "I am wearing a saree for the first time on screen as I have an Indian look. This is also the first time that I have tied my hair, because in the past, my curly hair was my trademark. But this time, it's different and I'm super excited about the new look!"
