Arjun Bijlani: My mother's name is Shakti Bijlani. I love my mother a lot and she is very, very close to me. She is my back bone and I feel there is no life without a mother. She has done a lot for me and dedicating just one day to her seems too less. I feel each day of our life is Mother’s Day. as we wouldn’t be here, doing all the work that keeps us so busy, if she wouldn’t have been there.
Mrunal Jain: My mother Vidya Jain is the greatest influence in my life. I still sometimes like to eat food with her hand. She has pampered me a lot. Whatever I am I am because of her. I remember in childhood she used to make special nankhatai sweets for me and used to give huge quantity t otake to school too. I remember her feeding me nankhatai as a child and a large glass of milk. I always think of her as a loving mom who wanted t osee her child always happy and successful. She is the one who supported me in my acting ambitions. During my struggle phase too she believed in my talent
Rashami Desai - My mother is a teacher. I am proud of her and her upbringing. I was a shy child initially but in school, I became active in cultural activities. My mother is a teacher so I was always a disciplined child. I learned the value of discipline and it has always helped in my life. All children should follow discipline. My mother has taught me that hard work is the only investment that never fails. My mother is my lifeline. I can’t think of life without her. Her happiness is of utmost importance to me. She is a positive person and one of the greatest influence on me. She has always stood by me through thick and thin.
Ssharad Malhotraa - I being brought up in Calcutta. My mother has given me excellent upbringing. She never said no for anything. Yet kept me and my sister discipline. I stay in Bombay still not a single day goes without talking to her. Whatever I wanted I could always ask her and she used to understand that before my asking what I want. She was a big motivator in letting me participate in Zee Cinestar Ki Khoj. Daily I remember my mom and she keeps coming to Bombay every three months. She is always concerned about if I have eaten food or not. She is always happy to my happiness in vice-versa. I can talk with her on any emotional topic of life. She is my strength and support system. Whenever I have been low she encourages me to look at the positive sides.
Mohammad Nazim: My mother’s name is Suriya Parveen. My mother is like God to me and is my life. Without her world means nothing to me. She has supported me throughout my journey and struggle and stood beside me like a pillar. That’s how I could gather the courage and confidence to come to Mumbai and shape my career. Mother’s Day is just a simple way of making your mother feel special.
Aniruddh Dave My mother's name is Rajul Dave. I really don’t need Mother's Day or any other day to make my mom feel special because for me every day is special with her. I find the whole idea of celebrating this day very weird as every child should make his/her mother feel special every day. What’s the point in celebrating one day and then rest of the year taking her granted.
Laksh Lalwani: My mother's name is Savita Lalwani I will never forget the time my mother was humilated at the 11th grade parents' meeting. My Physics teacher told her that your son is miserable and that he should take leaves Science and take up Arts. Two years later, the same teacher and principal sent an invitation to my mother to honour her when I got my first show on MTV as a lead. She was called again on the annual day when the school got to know about Adhuri Kahaani Humaari, where the school presented an appreciation presentation and honoured my mother with bouquet and gifts. Now she calls me every week and narrates an incident where I have made her proud. That feeling is overwhelming.
Karan Singh Chhabra - My mother’s name is Dr. Sarbjit Kaur. Every day is Mother's day for me but I will surely wish her and send her flowers in the morning and pray for her good health. I am planning to fly her down to Mumbai and also invite her on my set. The one thing she taught me always to follow and practice is to be self-dependent. Message for my mother is I just want to say that my mother is the most special person to me in this world. Whatever I am is because of her. I may not be able to express in words what she means to me but all I can say is that she has taught me the meaning of unconditional love.
